I think athletes enjoy this time of the year in some ways because they don’t have to concentrate on competitions. Instead they can focus on their own game and what they need to do to get better.
With 2011 being a busy year for both teams, the athletes need to take time over the winter to make sure they’re mentally and physically prepared for the hectic schedule ahead.
It’s the end of season for the Boccia and Shooting teams. Both sports will kick off their competition calendars again in February and March...
...Until then, the athletes will be training and looking at their technique to see how they can improve!
It’s been selection time for the boccia team over the last couple of weeks and 14 players have been chosen to be part of GB’s squad.
